This is my first successful meal in the Instant Pot and we’re so excited about how easy it is that we’ve made it three times in the past week! This is such a classic meal we’ve tried it with smoked sausage and kielbasa, Yukon gold potatoes and sweet potatoes and different types of green beans.
The type of sausage is based on personal preference. We only had a slight preference for smoked sausage over Kielbasa. As long as it We all agree that we like the sweet potatoes best!
Italian cut green frozen beans are wider than traditional green beans and hold up better in the Instant Pot. We have learned when making vegetables in this meal or in our Italian Sausage, Peppers and Onions that bigger pieces of vegetables hold up under pressure.
Potatoes on the other hand need to be cut smaller to cook through since they are so dense.
