Expertise – I am a passionate home cook who loves teaching others how to cook with confidence. I’m known for warm hospitality and creating recipes perfect for feeding a crowd.

Cuisines – Specializing in classic American dishes inspired by Midwest potlucks, with additional favorites like Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisines that I have picked up through travel.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and Applied Economics with culinary training from Meat Science courses at the Ohio State University.

About – I test every recipe shared on this website in my home kitchen and then take pictures and write all of the instructions and tips. My goal is to make mealtime easier for millions of readers.

This website was started in 2010 to share our stories of life on the farm. We began sharing meal ideas in 2017 and have over 700 recipes on this website.

My childhood on a farm included enjoying a lot of classic American comfort food. As I’ve grown and traveled, we have incorporated more international flavors into traditional midwest recipes.

My mom and grandmas have provided many of the recipes on this website. Friends have shared their family favorites and we have tested, shared and altered countless recipes from church and community cookbooks.

I share the step by step instructions and recipe tips that my mom taught me to help make cooking easier for anyone that wants to try one of our recipes.
