Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a sweeter cereal to start with, so we suspected that mini marshmallows alone would work best. Here are the results of three variations and our comments on each option.

Testing Combinations of Marshmallows and Marshmallow Creme

We experimented with three versions of this recipe and like the first option the best!

1 – A box of cereal, a bag of mini marshmallows and about half a stick of butter creates the perfect consistency to hold together and is a bit gooey.

2 – A box of cereal, half a bag of mini marshmallows and half a can of marshmallow creme with half a stick of butter. This option is less gooey and the pieces fell apart more easily.

3 – A bit more than a box of cereal, a bag of mini marshmallows plus half a can of marshmallow creme with half a stick of butter. Very gooey and almost too sweet in our opinion.

Ingredients Needed

  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch – a regular size box works great and is 12 ounces.
  • Mini Marshmallows – a small sized bag is 10 ounces.
  • Butter – margarine can work, but we always use butter out of principal.
