SPAM Fried Rice

Savory bits of meat and veggies nestled in rice along with eggs and seasoned with soy sauce makes the best SPAM Fried Rice.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces SPAM
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup peas and carrots
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cups uncooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions

  • Cook rice.
    2 cups uncooked white rice
  • Slice spam and then chop into small cubes.
    12 ounces SPAM
  • In a large skillet turn to medium high heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil to a hot skillet.

  • Brown spam in the oil then set aside on a separate plate.
  • Crack eggs in the skillet and chop while cooking. Once cooked set aside with the browned spam.

  • Add remaining oil to the skillet and heat. Cook vegetables 2 to 3 minutes until softened.
    1/2 cup peas and carrots, 1/4 cup red bell pepper
  • Turn to medium heat and add cooked rice and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir well.

  • Add eggs and spam to the skillet, stir again.
  • Slice green onions and sprinkle over warm fried rice. Serve and enjoy.
