Smoked Hamburgers

A patty of ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper and other simple spices is taken up a few levels when infused with smoke flavor on an electric smoker.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef divided in 6 patties
  • 3 teaspoons burger seasoning or salt, pepper and granulated garlic

Instructions

  • Preheat electric smoker to 275℉.
  • Lay a piece of non-stick foil on the smoker and arrange burgers on top with an inch of space between patties. Add 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning to each patty.
    1 pound ground beef, 3 teaspoons burger seasoning
  • Insert a probe in the side of each burger to the center. Close the lid and cook until ground beef reaches an internal temperature of 160℉.
  • Top with a slice of cheese if desired. Serve immediately with lettuce, tomato, onions.
