Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

Generous layers of roast beef and cheese on Hawaiian rolls with a sweet glaze make a memorable party slider.
A creamy sauce made of mayo and horseradish add a little something extra to these Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls.

Ingredients

  • 12 pack Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 12 ounces roast beef deli meat
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish

Slider Glaze

  • 5 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Instructions

  • Sauté onions in 2 tablespoons of melted butter or oil in a skillet, add garlic for the last couple minutes and stir well.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Use a long bread knife to slice slider rolls in half. Place sliders on a baking sheet covered with a non-stick liner or foil lined 9 x 13 dish.
  • Mix mayo and horseradish and spread sauce over bottom half of rolls.
  • Layer half of meat, then half of cheese on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls, repeat meat and cheese layers.
  • Spread warm onions and garlic over the top layer of cheese and place top half of rolls on to make a sandwich.

Slider Glaze

  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter and stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard and poppy seeds. Slowly pour over the top or use a basting brush to spread evenly over top of sliders.
  • Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until sliders are warmed through and cheese is melted.
