1/2cupbutter
1mediumonionchopped
1teaspoonbeef bouillon
1tablespoonmustard
16ouncesKielbasa Sausage
16ouncessauerkrautdrained and rinsed
1pound bow tie pastareserve 1 cup cooking water
1cuppasta waterreserved
Instructions
Cook 1 pound bow tie pasta according to the directions on the package. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
In a large pan saute 1 medium onion in 1/2 cup butter until soft.
Add 1 teaspoon beef bouillon and stir until dissolved. Then add 1 tablespoon mustard and stir well.
Stir in 16 ounces Kielbasa Sausage and 16 ounces sauerkraut. Cook covered for 5 - 10 minutes until sausage is lightly browned on the edges. Stir occasionally.
Turn down to low heat and carefully stir in cooked pasta. Add 1/2 up to 1 cup pasta water. Cover and gently heat for 10 minutes to allow pasta to absorb other flavors. Stir again before serving.
