Oatmeal Fruit Bars
Filled with a can of cherry pie filling baked between layers of a simple oatmeal mixture, our easy Oatmeal Fruit Bars make a great dessert.

- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
Preheat oven to 400℉.
In a medium sized bowl mix butter and sugar thoroughly.

In a small dish stir together flour, salt and baking soda.

Stir in oats and mix until crumbly.
1 1/2 cups quick oats
Press half of the crumbs (2 cups) into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13" baking pan. Press flat with your fingers.
Spoon pie filling over the oats as evenly as possible and cover with remaining crumbs, gently pat the top to flatten.
21 ounce can cherry pie filling
Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars, enjoy!
