- 2 granny smith apples
- 2 8 ounce tubes crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces mountain dew
- 1 -2 teaspoons cinnamon
Light coat a 9 x 13" pan with non-stick spray. Preheat oven to 350℉.
Using an apple cutter, cut each apple into 8 equally sized slices; peel each slice.
Wrap each slice of apple in one triangle section of crescent roll dough. Lay spaced evenly in a single layer in the bottom of the 9 x 13" baking dish.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat melt butter. Then stir in sugar and vanilla. Stir often until mixture comes to a boil.
Pour over apple dumplings immediately, scraping pan with a spatula.
Then pour Mountain Dew over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the dough is cooked through. Serve warm and enjoy!
