Italian Pasta Salad

Filled with salami and pepperoni, then accented with provolone cheese, tomatoes, olives, green pepper and red onion, this Italian Pasta Salad recipe is meaty and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces spiral pasta
  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1/2 pound provolone cheese cubed
  • 1/2 pound salami cubed
  • 1/4 pound pepperoni slices
  • 1 large green bell pepper chopped
  • 6.5 ounce can black olive slices drained
  • 16 ounces Italian salad dressing
  • .6 ounce packet Italian seasoning mix

Instructions

  • Cook pasta, drain well and rinse with cold water.

  • Coat in Italian dressing and sprinkle Italian seasoning mix on top. Stir well.

  • Stir in remaining ingredients, cover tightly and refrigerate at least 3 hours. Stir well before serving.
    3 cups cherry tomatoes, 1/2 pound provolone cheese, 1/2 pound salami, 1/4 pound pepperoni, 1 large green bell pepper, 6.5 ounce can black olive slices

Notes

  • Stir occasionally and add additional dressing while serving if necessary.
  • Can add 4 ounces drained pimentos, 1/2 cup chopped red onion or garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.
