Ingredients
3 slicescinnamon bread
1/4cupmilk
4eggs
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
1tablespoonbutter
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl beat eggs. Add milk and vanilla and whisk together.
Dip 3 to 4 slices of bread in egg mixture. Let it soak in for 2 to 3 minutes.
Set a large skillet on medium high heat and add butter to hot skillet - spread butter out.
Add a single layer of bread coated in the egg mixture.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes on the first side, checking the bottom side occasionally. Once the toast begins to brown, quickly flip each piece once and cook half as long on the second side - about 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve warm with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
Notes
Use 3 thicker slices or 4 thinner slices of cinnamon swirl bread.
