Like cheese and ritz crackers with a sweet nutty crunch this Farmhouse Pineapple Casserole with cheddar cheese and pecans makes an easy side dish!

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces Pineapple chunks drained
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 33 Ritz crackers 1 stack
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Pecans chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Spread drained pineapple on bottom of dish.
  • Mix sugar and flour and sprinkle over pineapple.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese over pineapple.
  • Melt butter and stir in crushed crackers. Sprinkle over the top.
  • Top with chopped pecans and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until lightly browned.
