Sweet blueberries are topped with an oatmeal mixture and baked to make a super easy Farmhouse Blueberry Crisp recipe.

Ingredients

Blueberry Base

  • 6 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons flour

Oatmeal Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 tablespoons cold butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine blueberry base ingredients - blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and flour. Gently stir.
  • Pour in the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13" baking dish.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, cinnamon and salt. Add chopped up butter and put in a food processor. Pulse the food processor in 2-3 second intervals until the mixture is clumpy.
  • Spread oatmeal mixture evenly over the blueberries. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
