Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly coat 9x13 inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Cook noodles and set aside. Stir in a little butter if they will wait very long.

Brown ground beef and drain.

Add taco seasoning, water and onion. Stir well. Allow onions to soften.

Stir in green pepper, chili sauce and pimentos.

Add undiluted tomato soup and cooked noodles, stir again.

Spread the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13" glass casserole dish.
Sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
2 cups Mexican cheese
In a separate microwave safe bowl melt butter and stir in breadcrumbs. Sprinkle evenly over top of casserole.
4 tablespoons butter, 1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Bake for 35 - 45 minutes until breadcrumb mixture is browned and casserole is warmed through to the center.
