Cake
2cupsgranulated sugar
2eggs
1cupvegetable oil
2cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
2teaspoonscinnamon
4cupsapplesdiced
1cupchopped walnutsoptional
Glaze
1/2cupbrown sugar
4tablespoonsbutter
2tablespoonsmilk
Instructions
Cake
Heat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour 13"x9"x2" sheet cake pan. Combine sugar and eggs, beat well. Add oil, cream well.
Add flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Stir well.
Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake 40 - 50 minutes. Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Glaze
Combine brown sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Pour hot glaze over warm cake.
