Creamy Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 5 green bell pepper halved & cleaned
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup onions chopped
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni

Instructions

  • Cook meat and drain.
  • Return meat to skillet over medium heat and add onions. Cook until onions are tender.
  • Stir in pizza sauce. Then add slices or cubes of cream cheese. Stir well until the cheese is mixed into the meat evenly.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese and then spoon into bell pepper halves.

Toppings

  • Sprinkle mozzarella on top. Then place pepperoni and olives on top of cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and cook for an additional 10 - 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the peppers are a bit softened. Serve warm and enjoy!
