Chicken Noodle Casserole
A simple meal with noodles, cream of chicken soup and chicken topped with cheddar cheese creates this Chicken Noodle Casserole.

- 2 cups chicken cooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 10.5 ounce cans cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper optional
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
Cook 8 ounces of dry noodles according to the directions on the bag. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350℉.
In a large skillet saute onions in butter over medium high heat.
Add cooked and chopped chicken to the skillet and warm.
Add cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, pepper and stir well.
Stir in cooked noodles. Once warm pour into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Cover with a glass lid or foil and bake for 25 minutes until warmed through and cheese is melted.
