- 2 pounds 90% lean ground beef or leaner
- 12 tortillas
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
- 12 slices cheddar cheese
Divide meat into 12 equally sized pieces and then roll into balls. Sprinkle seasoning over top of the balls of meat.
Place one ball in the center of a preheated skillet.
Quickly place one tortilla on top of meat. Flatten or smash right away into a thin, even layer with a smaller skillet and/or meat masher.
Once the burger is brown throughout, ensure the meat and tortilla are stuck together and flip over in one motion.
Add cheese. Shape into a taco quickly to help hold the shape while cooling.
Top with Big Mac sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and other toppings of your choice.
Recipe is best served with Big Mac or burger sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles.
- Must use 90% or leaner ground beef for the recipe to work well.
