Asian Broccoli

Fresh broccoli is stir fried with garlic and ginger then glazed in soy sauce for a bold, balanced side dish that pairs with almost anything.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups broccoli chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  • Rinse and prepare broccoli by chopping into small, bite sized pieces.
    6 cups broccoli
  • Heat oil in a skillet on medium heat and saute garlic for 1 to 2 minutes. Add ginger and stir.
    3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • Add broccoli and stir occasionally until the vegetable is crisp, yet also tender. If the skillet gets dry you may need to add another 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil.
    2 tablespoons fresh ginger
  • Add soy sauce, stir well and remove from the heat as soon as the sauce simmers. Stir again and serve immediately.
