Taco Pie

Flaky crescent rolls baked to a golden brown finish with a thick layer of taco meat is coated with cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream to create a wonderful Taco Pie recipe.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup Mexican cheese
  • 2 cups lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato chopped
  • 1/3 cup sour cream optional

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 400°F.  Press crescent rolls into pie pan.  Separate each crescent and shape to match pie pan or quickly lay them out however you like.  
    Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

  • Brown hamburger and drain if necessary.  
    3/4 pound ground beef
  • Add taco seasoning and ketchup. Pour into baked crust.  
    1 pkg taco seasoning mix, 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
    3/4 cup Mexican cheese
  • Add lettuce, tomato and sour cream to the top of the pie or serve on the side for picky eaters.
    2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup tomato, 1/3 cup sour cream
