Stove Top Little Smokies

Sweet and fruity these little smoky sausages can be made very quickly on the stove top in a simple jelly and cranberry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 28 ounces Cocktail sausages
  • 1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 16 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced

Instructions

  • In a medium to large skillet or a 3 to 4 quart sauce pan add little smokies.
  • Stir together cornstarch and jam and pour over the meat.
  • Add can of cranberry sauce and mix well.
  • Set to medium high heat and heat to a boil stirring frequently.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until sausage are hot.
  • Turn skillet to low or pour in a crock pot to keep warm.
  • Sprinkle with slices of green onion before serving.
