Slow Cooker Country Ribs With BBQ Sauce

Sprinkle a few seasonings on bone-in or boneless country ribs, add them to a slow cooker on a layer of sliced onions with soda and tender, shredded pork will be ready in a few hours.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds country style ribs
  • 1 1/2 cup onion sliced
  • 1 cup soda pop dark pop works best
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup bbq sauce

Instructions

  • Lightly coat 5 quart of larger slow cooker with non-stick spray. Add pop and onions to the bottom.

  • Mix together seasonings and rub on the ribs.
    4 pounds country style ribs, 2 tablespoons barbecue seasoning, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Set seasoned ribs on the onions and cover. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on high for 6 to 8 hous until all ribs are fork tender.
  • Preheat oven to broil and set ribs on a baking sheet. Cover with bbq sauce and broil for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce is caramelized. Serve immediately.
