- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cup shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
Grease baking sheet and preheat oven to 350°F.
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
2 1/2 cups flour, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Blend sugars, shortening, eggs, and vanilla.

Add dry ingredients, mix well. Stir in oats and then mix in butterscotch chips.
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats, 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
Space 2 inches apart and bake at 350℉ for 12 - 15 minutes.
