Grandma's Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 ounces radishes thinly sliced and chopped
  • 1 cup carrots grated
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 1 cup yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber chopped

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounce bottle Italian dressing
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to the directions on the package. Drain and run under cold water to stop cooking.
  • Drain well and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add Italian dressing, salt, pepper and sugar. Mix well.
  • Add chopped vegetables and stir well.
  • Cover and chill for at least an hour. Stir well before serving and enjoy!
