Ingredients
1 1/4cupsvegetable oil
2cupssugar
3eggs
2teaspoonsvanilla
3cupsflour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
3cupsapplespeeled & chopped
Glaze
1cupbrown sugar
1stickbutter
1/4cupmilk
1/4cupconfectioners' sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Fold in apples
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Set pan on a cooling rack.
Glaze
Combine brown sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Pour hot glaze over hot cake. Leave in pan 2 hours.
Turn cake out onto a plate. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar before serving if desired. Serve warm with ice cream.
