Ingredients
Muffins
1cupbuttersoftened
1cupsugar
2eggs
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2cupunsweetened applesauce
2 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonsalt
1 2/3cupsHershey's Cinnamon Chips10 oz package, reserve 1/4 cup chips
Glaze
3/4cupconfectioners sugar
1 to 2tablespoonswarm water
Instructions
Grease muffin tins well and preheat oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl beat softened butter and sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in applesauce.
In a seperate bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until well blended.
Drop into greased muffin tin and bake 14 - 18 minutes until a wooden toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean. Let cool. Remove from tins.
Stir together powdered sugar and enough warm water to make icing your preferred consistency. Drizzle over slighly warm cupcakes.
Sprinkle reserved cinnamon chips on top and enjoy!
