1 pound Italian sausage or lean ground beef 1 small onion finely chopped 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper freshly ground 2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1 1/2 cups pasta sauce 3 1/2 cups tomato juice 12 ounces lasagna noodles broken 3 cups mozzarella cheese divided
Brown sausage or ground beef in skillet and place in a greased or lined crock pot.

Cook onions in skillet until softened and add to the crock pot.

Add all remaining ingredients except noodles and cheese and stir well.

Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
In the last 30 - 40 minutes of cooking add lasagna noodles and 2 cups of cheese, stir well. Top with remaining cup of cheese 5 minutes before serving and enjoy!
12 ounces lasagna noodles, 3 cups mozzarella cheese
Be sure to use the proportion of liquid to dry, uncooked noodles. Changing the proportion of these ingredients may dry out the lasagna or create a lasagna soup.
Can be cooked on low for 4 to 6 hours and turn to high the last 20 minutes to cook noodles and melt cheese.
