Crust 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup butter melted 1/4 cup brown sugar Cream Cheese Filling 8 ounces cream cheese softened 1 cup confectioners sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup whipping cream Topping 21 ounces cherry pie filling
Cream Cheese Filling In a cold mixing bowl beat whipping cream until a stiff peak forms.
Beat cream cheese well. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Blend in whipped cream and stir well. Spread mixture over crumb crust.
Brown sugar in the crust can be substituted for white sugar
Whipping cream can be substituted for whipped topping or Dream Whip. whipping cream will offer the richest flavor profile
Any flavor of pie filling can be used, but we find cherry to be the most popular
Refrigerate at least 8 hours for a firm dessert that is easier to cut and serve
Pie filling can be spooned over each individual piece for a beautiful presentation
