Cherry Chocolate Candy

Stir dried cherries and salted almonds into chocolate melting in the crock pot to make super Easy Homemade Cherry Chocolate Candy recipe.
These chocolate cherry almond clusters are a family favorite Christmas treat or Valentine’s Day candy.

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces White chocolate chips or almond bark
  • 12 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 ounces German sweet chocolate bar
  • 2 cups Dried cherries
  • 2 cups Salted almonds

Instructions

  • Line a large crock pot and turn to low.
  • Add white chocolate chips or chunks of almond bark to the liner. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips on top
  • Break up pieces of German chocolate and spread on top. Cover and cook on low.
  • Use a long handled spoon to stir after 45 - 60 minutes. Continue stirring every 15 to 20 minutes until the chocolate is melted. This typically takes 1.5 - 2 hours.
  • Once chocolate is melted sprinkle almonds and dried cherries on top. Stir well.
  • Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to drop onto a waxed paper covered baking sheet and chill to allow chocolate to set up.
