BBQ Kielbasa

A sweet sauce with 7-Up, BBQ sauce and onions make the perfect topping for BBQ Kielbasa sandwiches. Our BBQ Kielbasa recipe is one of our favorite super easy ways to dress up smoked sausage.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Kielbasa Sausage cut into serving size
  • 1 Sweet Onion cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup 7-Up
  • 3/4 cup BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  • Generously coat a crock pot with non-stick cooking spray or use a liner.
  • Add serving size pieces of Kielbasa in a single layer.
  • Layer onions on top of meat.
  • Pour 7-Up into the crock. Drizzle BBQ sauce over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 - 3 hours.

Notes

  • We prefer to use Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce in this recipe
  • Can easily be prepared in a skillet in 10 - 15 minutes
  • To make a bigger batch I like to cook on high in the slow cooker
