Chicken Crescent Swirls
These Chicken Crescent Swirls are an easy appetizer or light meal. Crescent rolls wrapped with a chicken or turkey mixture of cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and vegetables make an easy handheld baked sandwich. These chicken swirls are perfect appetizers or snacks for parties, tailgating, baby showers or bridal showers.
Servings 20 crescent swirls
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken or turkey I use a 14.5 oz. can
- 4 ounce cream cheese
- 1/4 cup ranch salad dressing
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup red pepper chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
Preheat oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing.
Add cooked and shredded turkey or chicken, red pepper and green onions, mix well.
On a greased baking sheet, unroll 2 packages of refrigerated crescent roll dough into four equally sized rectangles.
Spread chicken mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
Roll up like a jelly roll. Slice and place cut side down on baking sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
