Ingredients
16ouncesfrozen broccoliI prefer florets only
1poundcooked turkey or chickensliced, shredded, chunks or pieces
Creamy Cheese Sauce
1cupmilk
8ouncecream cheese
1cupshredded sharp cheddar cheeseMozzarella works fine too
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoongarlic salt
Instructions
Grease crock pot or use a crock pot liner. Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and place in a layer in the crock.
In a saucepan blend all remaining ingredients except turkey on low heat. Stir often until melted and smooth.
Pour half a cup of creamy cheese sauce over broccoli.
Add cooked turkey to crock. Makes roughly a 1/4" layer of meat (cooked turkey or chicken) in a 6 quart crock.
Cook on low 2.5 to 4 hours until the dish is warmed through.
