Easy Apple Dapple Cake
Is a sweet apple treat on your mind? This Easy Apple Dapple Cake recipe is the sweetest fall treat I've ever eaten! The combination of fresh apples in the cake with warm icing is hard to beat!

- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 cups diced apples
- 1 cup chopped walnuts optional
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour 13"x9"x2" sheet cake pan. Combine sugar and eggs, beat well. Add oil, cream well.
Add flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Stir well. Stir in apples and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake 40 - 50 minutes. Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
