  • Stand Mixer
  • Silicone Spatula
  • Meat Masher

  • 5 pounds potatoes peeled
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream I have substituted Greek yogurt & it tastes great!
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • Start boiling water in a large pot while peeling potatoes.  Cut potatoes into smaller pieces if you would like them to cook faster.
  • Carefully add potatoes to boiling water.  Be sure not to let hot water splash on yourself.  Boil potatoes until they fall off of the fork.
  • Mash potatoes and add ingredients.  Serve warm!
