Chocolate Cherry Bars
A box of cake mix and a can of cherry pie filling come together to make a rich and delicious Chocolate Cherry Bars dessert recipe!

Jelly Roll Pan
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 2 eggs beaten
- 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan.
Mix up cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs and vanilla. Pour into pan and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Allow cake to cool.
Partially melt butter over medium heat in a sauce pan. Stir in milk, chocolate chips and sugar. Stir often.
When mixture begins to boil stir continuously for one minute. Pour slowly over cake to allow for an even distribution. Allow frosting about 20 minutes to set up and enjoy!
