Cherry Delight

Rich whipping cream and cream cheese on a graham cracker crust and topped with cherry pie filling makes Cherry Delight, a classic dessert recipe that is always popular!

  • 8 x 8" Baking Dish
  • Silicone Spatula

  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup whipping cream


  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling



  • Mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar. Pour melted butter over mixture and toss lightly. Pat firmly over a 9" square baking dish.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • In a cold mixing bowl beat whipping cream until a stiff peak forms.
  • Beat cream cheese well. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Blend in whipped cream and stir well. Spread mixture over crumb crust.


  • Pour pie filling over top. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight


  • Brown sugar in the crust can be substituted for white sugar
  • Whipping cream can be substituted for whipped topping or Dream Whip. whipping cream will offer the richest flavor profile
  • Any flavor of pie filling can be used, but we find cherry to be the most popular
  • Refrigerate at least 8 hours for a firm dessert that is easier to cut and serve
  • Pie filling can be spooned over each individual piece for a beautiful presentation
