Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 pound canned pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup water

Instructions

  • Mix sugar, oil and eggs together.
  • Add pumpkin and mix well. Add dry ingredients, then water stirring until just mixed.
  • Pour batter into two greased and floured 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
