Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup butter-flavored shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Cream butter, shortening, granulated sugar and brown sugar in mixer. Add eggs; mix until well blended.

  2. Mix flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Add oats and mix well.

  3. Stir in cranberries, nuts and chips on low so that the chips don't get broken, or stir by hand.

  4. Make dough into balls or drop onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes, depending on type of cookie sheet. Remove from oven when cookies are still slightly gooey in the center. Place of cooling racks. Enjoy warm and with a glass of milk
