Chocolate Pudding Delight with pudding, cream cheese and cool whip

Chocolate Delight

Chocolate Delight is made with layers of chocolate and vanilla pudding, cream cheese, and Cool Whip on a graham cracker and nut crust.  This basic chocolate pudding dessert is always a winner and always one of the first pans to be cleaned out at a potluck, carry-in or holiday meal!

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip defrosted

Pudding Layer

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 small package instant vanilla pudding 3.5 - 4 ounce box
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding 3.5 - 4 ounce box

Cool Whip Layer

  • 1 container Cool Whip defrosted
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Crust

  1. Spray 12" by 12" pan with non-stick cooking spray and preheat oven to 350°F. Mix crust ingredients, press into pan and bake for 20 minutes.

  2. Cool crust before adding the next layer

Cream Cheese Layer

  1. Mix together ingredients in cream cheese layer and spread on cool crust

Pudding Layer

  1. Whisk milk and pudding together and spread over dessert.

Cool Whip Layer

  1. Spread remaining cool whip over all layers and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Keep refrigerated.
