We love making and eating this easy Easter Egg Nest Treats.  Using crispy rice cereal is my go to snack for family meals.  All of the kids LOVE these treats and adults tend to enjoy them too!  We usually make a double batch to snack on before and after the party.  This easy recipe can be filled with any type of candy.

Easy Easter Rice Krispie Treat

Cadbury Eggs are our favorite Easter candy, so naturally we put them in our nests.  I wouldn’t mind finding a large caramel filled egg in my nest either!  My son cut toothpicks in half to put inside the marshmallow bunnies.  Then he stuck the bunnies in the nests and giggled about bunnies laying chocolate eggs.  He enjoys crafts and activities like this.  So, an activity involving Easter is right up his alley!

These Easter Egg Nests only took about fifteen minutes to make.  There is one tip that is key to success for this recipe and this is to have a bowl of water handy so that you can continually wet your fingers when shaping the nests.
